The Private Equity Andean Forum is a part of Markets Group’s leading private equity series of LP-focused meetings throughout the Americas. The pan-regional meetings bring together Latin America’s leading private equity LPs active in Colombia, Chile and Peru with global and local fund managers.

In its third year, the forum provides peer education for local Andean private equity limited partners including pensions, foundations,endowments, family offices and wealth managers from Colombia, Chile, Peru in addition to international institutional investors allocating to private equity in the region. The peer exchange between local private equity and international private equity investors allows for an investor-led program focused on allocations.

This investor-focused event will bring together 200+ local and global institutional investors, pension funds, insurance and multilateral agencies for a full day of strategic discussions and networking that offers local firms access to the global private equity industry and serves as the perfect cornerstone to any international due diligence trip to the region.


Jane Rowe,
Senior Vice-President, Teachers’ Private Capital,
Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan

Ms. Rowe is Senior Vice-President and head of Private Capital at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Her group makes direct and fund private equity investments and had $28 billion in net assets at December 31, 2015. She is also responsible for the organization’s strategy for its growing physical presence internationally, sits on the Investments and Risk committees of the Plan and chairs the Investments Division Credit and Counterparty Committee. Ms. Rowe received an MBA from York University's Schulich School of Business, a B.Comm (Hons) from Memorial University and also has ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Frank Morgan,
President of Coller Capital–US,
Coller Capital

Mr. Morgan is President of Coller Capital–US. He worked with Coller Capital from 1991 as an external adviser before joining the firm in 2003. Prior to joining Coller Capital Mr. Morgan was previously a Partner at law firms Dewey Ballantine; Mayer Brown; and Gaston & Snow, advising international private equity funds and portfolio companies on legal and business issues. He was also Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel for Madison Fund and was Senior Vice President of Madison Ventures. Mr. Morgan has a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law; an LLM in International Law from Cambridge University; and an AB from Brown University. He sits on the advisory committees of ABS Ventures, Annex Capital, Capitol Health and New Venture Partners.

Matthew Pedley,
Managing Director,

Mr. Pedley is a Managing Director in the Limited Partner Relations and Fund Placement Group. Since joining Blackstone, he has been involved in raising capital for Blackstone's private investment funds and maintaining relationships with the Firm's Limited Partners. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Pedley worked as a Vice President in the venture capital arm of AllianceBernstein, where he was responsible for venture investments in the technology sector, Limited Partner relations, fundraising and legal documentation for the fund. Prior to AllianceBernstein, Mr. Pedley was a Senior Associate at Crosslink Capital, where he was responsible for venture investments in the technology sector. Mr. Pedley received his BA in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, where he was President of his Class.

Marshall W. Parke,
Managing Partner,
Lexington Partners (UK)

Mr. Parke is the Managing Partner of Lexington Partners, the largest independent manager of secondary acquisition and co-investment funds. Prior to joining Lexington, Mr. Parke founded and built Manistee Ltd, a merchant banking firm operating in the emerging markets of Asia. While at Manistee, Mr Parke helped found and build seven companies off-plan in industries ranging from semiconductor assembly to property development. Prior to founding Manistee in 1986, Mr Parke was an executive at the Hong Kong Bank Group, and started his financial career at the Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr. Parke was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona and attended George Washington University on an athletic grant where he graduated with a BA in International Affairs with a language expertise in Arabic. In 1977 he graduated with an MIM from Thunderbird. Mr Parke is a Trustee of the Thunderbird Global School of Management, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University.
